Windows Server 2008 RC1 has been released, and the evaluation version along with the CD-KEY has been made available.

The Microsoft Windows Server team today announced the release of Windows Server 2008 RC1, and applications for evaluation serial numbers and downloads of the trial version have already begun.

The testing plan for Windows Server 2008 is very large, including approximately 1.8 million testers (public testing). The final version will be officially released in Los Angeles on February 27, 2008. SQL Server 2008 and Visual Studio 2008 will also be launched at the same time.
