On the blog of digg's founder, Kevin, it says "So far, digg has 444,809 registered users. Since its launch, 38,848 popular posts have been promoted to the front page, of which 11,943 were submitted by 'Top 100' users. This means that submissions from 'Top 100' users account for slightly less than one-third of the front page content." This is Kevin's response to the claim that "the top 100 Digg users control 56% of the front-page content."
