Tencent's attempt to create a Chinese Facebook falls short; needs to deepen third-party relationship chains.

After the 3Q battle, Tencent has started to take big steps towards openness. Recently, Tencent announced the launch of the "Connect with QQ Zone" service on third-party websites. This service will allow third parties to implement one-stop login with QQ on their sites. As an important part of Tencent's open platform, QQ's openness will benefit many Internet companies including small and medium-sized site owners, application developers (applications, games, etc.), and online store owners.
