At the IT two sessions, I listened to Dr. Kaifu's speech and highly认同 with Dr. Kaifu's insights on Chinese universities. Last night, I had midnight snacks with 5 friends including Ms. Jinghua, Mr. Liu, the president of Internet Weekly, Mr. Yu, the president of a fund company, and Mr. Hu, the president of a famous company. Mr. Liu and I reached a consensus: Chinese universities have made little contribution to the Internet. Look at those famous experts in American Internet, almost all of them are professors in famous schools like Stanford. However, when we look at the experts in China's Internet, they are either returned overseas students or self-taught talents. Chinese universities are not the bread and butter for the Internet industry.
