Gmail's chat feature now supports group chats and emoji expressions.

Those who use Gmail as their contact method should know that Gtalk has three official versions: a Gmail version, a software version, and a web version. The software version hasn't been updated for over half a year, while the web version added group chat and emoticon functions during its last update. What about the Gmail version? Today, when I logged into Gmail, I found that the Gmail version of Gtalk now supports group chats and emoticons, meaning that the Gmail version and the web version have been synchronized.
