At the beginning of July, a post named "The Price List of Shanghai Female College Students Being Kept Was Exposed! It's Amazing!" began to spread on various forums online. The post was accompanied by a photo and a "Price List for Keeping Female College Students in Shanghai". There was also a business card for the "General Agent of Concubine (or Male Concubine) Intermediary for Major Shanghai Universities" attached to the list. The internet user who posted the article, "Jolin Shadow", along with the website that posted it, Sina.com, were exposed by the Shanghai Network Social Credit Website, and the poster was accused of spreading rumors and disturbing public order.
