The Evolution of Teddy Bears

Strictly speaking, the furry bear toys we commonly see today cannot really be considered as true teddy bears. Just as cars come in different shapes, specifications, and brands, plush bears also have various brands, styles, appearances, and even designers; thus, it's not possible to use "teddy bear" to represent all types of bears. However, due to the widespread use of the term "teddy bear," people often refer to all plush toy bears as teddy bears.
