This weekend, while I was reading, an article written by David Beach caught my attention. It's about the development of Android. Beach, a product manager from eBay Mobile, discusses why the product experience of Android is so poor. There are many reasons, but one in particular stood out to me: Android has achieved such good results mainly because iPhone was only available on AT&T and didn't cooperate with Verizon; otherwise, Android would have been eliminated long ago.
Clearly, Beach is not the first person to come up with this idea. However, he not only proposed it from a developer's perspective, but more importantly, from a consumer's point of view.
This sounds like slanderous talk. Everyone knows "I Love iPhone" – but I agree with Beach's point of view. In the past two years, I have used no less than six Android phones. I tried to like them, but I couldn't.
