T-Mobile claims it will sell an unlocked iPhone for 999 euros

Because of Vodafone's lobbying in the court, T-Mobile, which operates iPhone business in Germany, has to adjust its sales strategy.

T-Mobile claims that it can sell Apple's unlocked version of the iPhone, but the price will be as high as 999 euros (1481 US dollars, 720 pounds)... Currently, the contract version of T-Mobile's iPhone is sold for 399 euros, and the price of the unlocked version is more than two and a half times higher, which is equivalent to purchasing nearly two years of the minimum contract usage amount. Obviously, this is a move by T-Mobile to avoid regulations (the pricing of 999 euros also shows T-Mobile's resentment...), but no one knows how many people will buy this sky-high priced phone.

There is currently no more new news from Apple, so don't think about 3G, GPS, A2DP, etc. However, there are recent reports claiming that the 3G version of the iPhone will be launched in May next year.
