E-commerce is getting increasingly popular, with individual online stores and internet malls all vying for a piece of the pie. In particular, the recent emergence of group buying has further intensified competition in the industry. So, how can one carve out a path in such fierce competition? Especially for individual online stores and malls that are not very large in scale, how can they secure a steady stream of orders? Regarding these issues, I have previously discussed many conventional marketing and promotion methods with everyone. ### 1. What is Database Marketing?

Database marketing refers to the practice where businesses collect and accumulate information about members or potential members (users or consumers). After analyzing and screening this data, they use targeted methods such as email, SMS, phone calls, or letters to deeply mine customer insights and maintain relationships. The goal of database marketing is to establish a one-to-one interactive communication relationship with customers, relying on a large customer information database to conduct long-term promotional activities.
