Firstly, I need to clarify that this is mainly written for friends who are economical. If you have someone paying for you, it may not apply.
1. We booked a 5-day, 2-place trip through Ctrip, which was the combination of Dadonghai and Yalong Bay. First, in the choice of hostel tickets, we didn't pay extra for the tickets. For the 5-day tour, we basically arrived at around 12 pm at night in Dalian Sanya. So, even though it says 5 days, it's actually 4 days and 4 nights. When we got there, we just slept. Therefore, in the selection of hotels, if you're going the economical route, you can book hotels in the city center, Ningbo Sanya Bay, or Dadonghai, then transfer to Yalong Bay. Sanya Bay or Dadonghai are closer to the city center. When I went, the taxis in Sanya were on strike, but fortunately, I was staying in Dadonghai, which laid the foundation for me to travel around Sanya by bus.
We chose the Yuhua Garden Jinjiang Resort Hotel in Dadonghai. The reason for choosing this hotel was mainly because of the Jinjiang brand. Overall, it was pretty good with a relatively high cost-performance ratio. It was a bit far from the sea. To get to the beach, you could walk through the lobby of the Lijing Hotel, which would take about 10 minutes, or the hotel had a shuttle called the Sunshine Car that also went to the beach. As a four-star hotel, the price was considered cheap. The only downside was that the TV was too old, not even as good as Jinjiang Star.
