The repair process for errors that occur after modifying the Discuz! program files

1.  Visit the Discuz! download directory where installation packages for various versions are available.

    Select the version you are currently using and download it.

2.  Unzip the 'upload' folder from the compressed package.

    Delete the following folders and files within 'upload':

    attachments, customavatars (this folder is only present in Discuz! versions below 6.0),

    forumdata, install, config.inc.php

3.  Access your Discuz! directory via FTP at this point, and back up any files you may have modified,

    in case you need them later and can't find them.

4.  Upload the remaining files from 'upload' via FTP in binary mode to the root directory of your Discuz! installation, overwriting existing files.

    Then open the 'forumdata/cache' and 'forumdata/templates' directories in your Discuz! directory,

    and delete all subfiles in these two directories.

5.  Access your Discuz! admin panel and visit the plugin settings.

    For Discuz! versions below 7.0: Extensions > Forum Plugins

    For versions 7.0 and above: Plugins. Temporarily disable all installed plugins.

6.  Next, go to Tools > Database > Verify.

    Follow the instructions if any are provided.

7.  Then go to Tools > Update Cache > Confirm.

    Once the cache update is complete, visit various pages on your forum.

    If there are no abnormalities, the repair is now complete.

Sometimes, you may have only modified a few files and encountered an error.

In such cases, you don't need to overwrite all the files mentioned above.

You just need to locate the files you recently modified from the installation package and overwrite them.

The prerequisite is that you remember which files you modified.

Then, simply update the cache from the admin panel =)
