Point 1: Should one purchase a Yellow Diamond membership solely for the purpose of playing Letou?
To understand this question, we need to first do some calculations. Yellow Diamond members can PK 12 times in 24 hours (restoring 10 stamina points every two hours), while regular users can only PK 9 times in 24 hours (restoring 10 stamina points every 160 minutes, which equals 9 times in 24 hours). Additionally, Yellow Diamond members receive approximately one bottle of vitality water daily (3 PKs), whereas regular users must purchase their own vitality water (1 PK). This means that Yellow Diamond members effectively have 5 more PK opportunities per day than regular users, amounting to 150 additional PKs in a month.
If we calculate based on the value of vitality water, (150/3) * 8 = 400 Q points = 40 QB, which is more than four times the actual value of the Yellow Diamond membership. If calculated based on small vitality water, the value would be even higher. Therefore, if you are a player who enjoys Letou, a Yellow Diamond membership is highly recommended. Even if you just occasionally play, the cost-effectiveness is still very acceptable. Additionally, Yellow Diamond members can freely change their space skins and access mini-games for small gifts.
Point 2: Should one purchase a Pink Diamond membership solely for the purpose of getting one extra PK per day by cooking for six hours?
Let's calculate. If after purchasing the Pink Diamond membership, we consistently cook for six hours every day for a month, Pink Diamond members will have one extra PK opportunity per day compared to regular users (regular users get 3 PKs for 6 hours of cooking, while Pink Diamond members get 4 PKs). This amounts to 30 extra PKs in a month. The value of these 30 PKs is how much? In the shop, a small vitality water costs 3.2 Q points, and a large vitality water costs 8 Q points (calculated at Yellow Diamond prices). If we calculate based on large vitality water, (30/3) * 8 = 80 Q points = 8 QB. If calculated based on small vitality water, (30/1) * 3.2 = 96 Q points = 9.6 QB. Therefore, if one purchases Pink Diamond solely for Letou, the cost is almost balanced (Pink Diamond costs 10 QB per month, while the value generated for Letou is between 8-9 QB). If you can ensure cooking for six hours every day for 28 days in a month, it is worth purchasing, as Pink Diamond also helps with QQ pets. However, if you cannot guarantee cooking for six hours every day, it may not be necessary to purchase. Ultimately, the decision is up to the individual.
Point 3: How can one make their Letou pet extremely powerful?
From my experience at level 25, to dominate in Letou, the key lies in skills and weapons, especially the first row of skills. If two pets PK with the same weapons, but one has an additional immunity skill in the first row while the other has 2-3 more skills overall, the pet with the additional immunity skill is likely to win. Or, out of 10 matches, the pet with the additional immunity skill will lose no more than 6-7 times. To be strong in PK, the combination of weapons and skills is essential. Generally speaking, having more first-row skills makes your pet stronger, assuming you have enough weapons.
Point 4: Is 3X really that powerful?
In reality, 3X is not particularly strong, roughly equivalent to an air hammer. The reason is simple: using 3X requires pausing for two turns, during which time an opponent of similar level can already defeat you or deal equal damage. Luck also plays a significant role in Letou. If the opponent is bare-handed or drops a mouse during the two turns you pause, that's your luck. Ignoring luck, I believe a lead ball is better than 3X. Lead balls are not very strong, thrown twice, and increase the opponent's dodge rate by 15% when used with dignity weapons. Normally, it hits once, sometimes twice, and the double-hit effect is not less than 3X. Even hitting once is profitable. At least, a white spear should hit once.
3X: Attack power: 25-50, Flaw: Can only be used once every two turns, Advantage: Extremely painful when it hits.
Lead Ball: Attack power: 15-24, Flaw: Increases the opponent's dodge rate by 15%, Advantage: Usually hits once, hitting once is profitable, hitting twice equals hitting once with 3X, though there's a chance it might miss both times.
Point 5: How fast do RMB players level up? (RMB player version, general player understanding)
Of course, Letou does have some fun, and I estimate many people are willing to spend RMB on this game. After all, it doesn't consume too much money. Let's calculate how much RMB players spend in Letou to gain experience. General RMB players usually buy large vitality water, small vitality water, and experience water. Here, I won't calculate those who also buy strength pills and agility pills. A Yellow Diamond member receives one large vitality water daily. If RMB players consume their large and small vitality waters fully each day and take experience water, their consumption would be as follows: (4 large vitality waters * 8 Q points) + (5 small vitality waters * 3.2 Q points) * 7 days + one week of experience water costing 16 Q points = 352 Q points = 35 QB per week (all calculated at Yellow Diamond prices). One month (4 weeks) = 35 * 4 = 140 QB. Thus, RMB players spend 140 yuan per month. After spending 140 yuan, how much more experience do they gain compared to regular players? Let's calculate. They have 17 more PK opportunities daily than regular Yellow Diamond users (4 large vitality waters * 3 + 5 small vitality waters * 1 = 17 times). However, since RMB players take experience water, in the same number of PKs as regular Yellow Diamond users (system 12 times + cooking 3 times + 1 large vitality water 3 times = 18 times), RMB players gain 5 more experience points per PK. In these 18 PKs, RMB players gain 90 more experience points. In the extra 17 PKs, assuming RMB players gain an average of 16 experience points per PK (taking experience water ensures at least 15 points per PK even if they lose) = 16 * 17 = 272 experience points. Thus, RMB players gain 272 + 90 = 362 more experience points daily than regular Yellow Diamond players. In a month, this amounts to 362 * 30 = 10860 experience points. Conclusion: RMB players spend 140 yuan to gain approximately 10860 experience points.
Point 6: How can one level up the fastest?
Discussing this, I will not differentiate between RMB players and regular players. What follows applies to everyone, regardless of whether they spend money or not. To level up quickly, one must maximize the 500 experience points gained from being PKed daily. Many people know the daily limit is 500 experience points, but how many actually reach this limit daily? Likely very few. Whether you are an RMB player or a regular player, you should strive to reach this 500-point limit daily, as it is free and a significant portion of your experience. As calculated in Point 5, even if RMB players consume all their vitality waters and take experience water daily, they only gain 362 more experience points daily than regular Yellow Diamond players. Imagine if you could gain those 500 experience points daily from being PKed; it would make a huge difference, envied by many. However, nowadays, most people mutually add and brush each other, neither brushing the other nor being brushed by others. To gain 500 experience points daily, one needs at least 170 people to PK. Even RMB players who cook for six hours daily and consume all their vitality waters can only PK 35-36 times. So, asking 170 people to PK you while you can only return the favor to 35 people makes the remaining 135 people feel foolish. Who would PK you then?
For this issue, I have a few suggestions:
1. Add more friends, join more groups (seems like common sense).
2. After joining many groups, find 3-4 full and active supergroups (two birds with one stone). Chat actively because as more people play Letou, they know to mutually add and brush. Why should others PK you when they see hundreds of friends in their Letou friend list who haven't been PKed? But if you're active in 3-4 full supergroups where 1500-2000 people might be watching you chat, even the lurkers might notice. When added mutually, seeing a familiar name among strangers increases the likelihood of being PKed.
3. Help acquaintances start Letou. Once they start, they'll likely add you mutually, as their QQ typically only has a few Letou friends. Who else would they PK if not you?
4. Engage in forums or other channels happily, helping others and making friends. The goal is still to add friends and become familiar faces.
Point 7: Can one avoid losing focus completely?
Discussing this, I speak from the perspective of my own experiences with four accounts, not guaranteeing absolute accuracy. My smaller account lost focus four times: at levels 10, 15, 17, and 21. My three main accounts lost focus five times. Based on my observations, when leveling up, it's best to PK opponents who are 2-4 levels higher than you with fewer skills. Too high or too low can result in losing focus. For instance, my smaller account lost focus three times: once to someone 10 levels lower, once PKing someone 7 levels lower, and another time PKing someone 5 levels lower. For my main accounts, I noticed three losses were similar scenarios, and the other two occurred when PKing opponents 1-2 levels higher but with superior skills and weapons.
Regardless of whether my conclusions are accurate, to avoid losing focus, it's best to follow my advice for the final PK before leveling up, as it causes no harm. Others have also told me that failing the last challenge might result in losing focus, a conclusion drawn from many experiences. If possible, it's best to avoid this situation.
Point 8: Can one choose specific weapons or skills upon leveling up?
This is a controversial topic. Again, I share based on my own experiences and explorations, without guaranteeing accuracy. When leveling up, select a Letou friend with the skill or weapon you want to learn. Ideally, this friend has all the other weapons and skills you already possess, differing only in the one skill or weapon you desire (provided it satisfies Point 7). After PKing them, you have a 50-60% chance of obtaining their skill or weapon (ideally, seek friends whose weapons and skills closely match yours except for the one you desire).
After discovering this rule, I shared it with three friends, and we tested it repeatedly with our main accounts. Out of 20 leveling instances, following this rule resulted in obtaining the desired weapon or skill 6-7 times out of 10. Only 6 times out of 20 did we obtain something different. This method minimizes the risk of receiving undesired items due to luck.
Point 9: How much experience can RMB players gain daily?
Although Point 5 already introduced the typical RMB player scenario, it's worth reiterating their daily experience income. RMB players' daily PK count = system 12 times + cooking 3 times + 5 bottles of large vitality water * 3 + 5 bottles of small vitality water * 1 = 35 times. Assuming each PK yields an average of 16.5 experience points (with experience water) = 35 * 16.5 = 577.
Adding the 500 experience points RMB players gain daily from being PKed, they can accumulate 1077 experience points daily. Accounting for all errors, RMB players can gain between 950-1120 experience points daily. Even with average social connections yielding 300 experience points daily from being PKed, RMB players can still gain 800-900 experience points daily.
Point 10: Should one give up on Letou if they have too few focuses and poor equipment?
I believe any Letou player who has lost focus too many times (more than 4), lacks first-row skills, and has poor equipment has considered giving up. Including myself, after the fourth loss, I almost quit. Now, however, I don't think that way. Although another loss would still be discouraging, I wouldn't quit. I've realized that as my level increases, the disadvantage of having a weak character becomes an advantage—precisely what weaker players lack. Their weakness becomes their strength. Because your level is high but your character is weak, even players 10 levels below you can defeat you. The experience gained by lower-level players defeating you is highly attractive. Once they defeat you and gain much experience, they will continue to PK you until they realize you're no longer weak. When they stop losing to you, it indicates you're no longer so weak. Conversely, players at your level who are strong deter others because they cannot be defeated easily. Players realize it's not worth wasting stamina on them and instead focus on those who yield more experience. In this situation, if you promote yourself well, accumulating the maximum 500 experience points daily is entirely possible, requiring less effort than those at your level who are strong.
Point 11: Why does adding someone not immediately update their information in the space?
Many newcomers to my two supergroups ask why newly added friends don't immediately appear in their Letou friend lists. Having encountered this issue more than ten times, it's clear this is a common concern among new players. Here's how to quickly refresh newly added friends:
First, after adding N friends (N >= 1), wait about 20 minutes. Then sequentially "Enter Space - Find (Profile) on the homepage - Click (Statistics) - Click the bottom-left (Refresh) - Exit Space - Re-enter Space." Under normal circumstances, you should see the newly added friends. If they still don't appear, simply wait; they should show up within 2-3 hours. There's no need to rush; patience is key.
