Tencent is trying a new strategic idea to expand its business in the media direction. Since last year, Tencent has began to provide the "QQ News Platform" to the traditional media, especially the regional newspapers. Now, many traditional media including楚Chutian Metropolis Daily, Chengdu Commercial News, Yangcheng Evening News, and Jinan Times etc. have appeared on Tencent's list of cooperative media.
