There are more than ten well-known laundry detergent brands in the Beijing market, and housewives who are not too particular often choose "large-sized, cost-effective" family packs. Today, the China Detergent and Cosmetics Industry Association reminds consumers: choosing laundry detergent is no trivial matter. According to a previously published quality survey report on phosphate-free detergents for the first quarter, 34.5% of the surveyed products failed to meet national standards. In the current laundry detergent market, price competition outweighs technological competition, which not only leads to a decline in the overall quality of the cleaning industry but also severely limits consumer choices. With the decline in laundry detergent quality, consumers must be even more selective when purchasing detergent. Dry cleaners are reminded to carefully fill out washing orders to avoid unnecessary disputes. The China Detergent and Cosmetics Industry Association advises consumers not to blindly pursue so-called cost-performance ratios. The most expensive brand does not necessarily provide the best cleaning effect, as the maturation of wet-cleaning technology has led to "washing without detergent." Similarly, some products claiming to be super-valuable actually reduce costs by cutting corners, often resulting in poor performance. Here are three steps for selecting laundry detergent:
1. Look at the brand. Consumers can appropriately choose well-known, higher-end brands with softening, brightening, and fragrance-enhancing components. These detergents will not harm the body and will make clothes look better.
2. Look at the appearance. Choose products with intact packaging, secure sealing, no leaks, and white powder. When shaking the detergent bag, the product should flow freely without clumping.
3. Look at the instructions. Do not easily believe meaningless advertising terms like "miraculous particles" or "stain-removal stars." Pay attention to the specific description of the detergent's composition. The association's survey shows that enzyme-added detergents have significantly better overall quality than non-enzyme detergents, and the higher the enzyme content, the better the overall stain removal ability. Pay attention to whether the washing instructions require pre-soaking, and if there are any requirements for washing time and temperature. These requirements reflect the core components of the product.
