The person in charge revealed that there are three purposes for issuing the 12301 tourism service card: first, to expand the influence of the 12301 tourism service hotline and provide better services for tourists. Nearly 20 12301 tourism service hotlines have been opened nationwide, but most of them suffer from too few incoming calls, even becoming cold lines. Second, cardholders can enjoy free or discounted access to tourist attractions and hotels, which will positively promote tourism consumption and expand domestic demand. Third, it opens up a new source of income for tourist attractions - although card-carrying consumers enter the scenic spots for free, the scenic spots can receive a share of the total sales revenue of the cards, changing the traditional model of mainly relying on ticket sales, advertising, and travel agents for marketing.
According to the person in charge of the Information Center of the Provincial Tourism Bureau, the card integrates 150 ticket-operating tourist areas (sites) in our province and 88 national tourist routes. Consumers only need to pay 79 yuan to purchase this card and can enjoy accumulated discounts worth tens of thousands of yuan. With this card, consumers can enjoy free admission to 100 scenic spots and half-price or special offers at 50 scenic spots across the province. If you own a 12301 tourism service card, you can visit 100 scenic spots for free, including the Jinggang Ancient Town in Changsha, the Drippingspring Cave in Shaoshan, the Shun Emperor Mountain in Yongzhou, the Mang Mountain in Chenzhou, the Huang Sang in Shaoyang, the Tea Horse Ancient Road in Yiyang, and the International Peace Village in Huaihua. Today, the Provincial Tourism Bureau announced that the 12301 tourism service hotline in our province has launched a tourism service card, which was officially issued on March 21. It is reported that this is the first time our province has issued a people-oriented tourism consumption card.
