The廉rent housing system in urban areas mainly has three forms, namely rent reduction, rent subsidy, and physical allocation, with the rent subsidy being the primary form. Taking Beijing as an example, the allocation standard is 10 square meters of usable area per person (including the original housing area), with a subsidy of 25 yuan per square meter.

Currently, there are two popular standards for evaluating the office building market: Class A office buildings and 5A office buildings. The term "Class A office building" is more of a common designation without a fixed standard because no one wants their building to be called Class B. Thus, almost any building with glass facades, elevators, and significant height tends to self-designate as Class A. In contrast, 5A office buildings do have certain standards, similar to hotel star ratings.
