The convenience, speed, and abundance of YouTube videos are arguably unparalleled, but there are also many limitations and drawbacks, such as low video quality and short durations. To address these issues, YouTube has announced that the video upload size limit will be expanded to 1GB, with support for uploading multiple videos simultaneously.
With the dedicated "YouTube Uploader" software, users can upload multiple videos at once. Each video can be up to 10 minutes long and as large as 1GB, no longer compressed to just 100MB, which helps deliver clearer visuals. After the uploaded videos are processed, they will appear in the My Videos section. However, if the file size is too large, the processing time could take up to 30 minutes or even longer.
Currently, YouTube Uploader is only available for Windows PCs, but a Mac version will be coming soon.
