This official also said that this time the Wuhan tourism industry has brought the specially designed tourism products for the opening of the high-speed railway to Guangdong for promotion. They have successively promoted in Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Foshan and other places, with very enthusiastic responses. In Guangzhou, on the same day, contracts were signed for more than 40 high-speed railway tourism groups to travel to Wuhan in the near future. For this reason, the Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Tourism advocated the establishment of the "Tianhe Long Palace High-Speed Railway Tourism Alliance", which received strong support from all parties.
A deputy director of the Shaoguan Municipal Bureau of Tourism surnamed Chen said that the bureau was entrusted by the Guangdong Provincial Bureau of Tourism to host the High-Speed Railway Tourism Forum in May this year, aiming to promote further development in the era of high-speed railway tourism.
An official from the Market Promotion Department of the Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Tourism told reporters that the "Appointment with Wuhan Romantic Cherry Blossom Festival" product launched by the Wuhan tourism industry in March was continuously popular, with an average of more than 300 high-speed railway tourism groups from Guangdong and Hong Kong-Macao regions every weekend. During the Spring Festival this year, on average, more than 10,000 tourists from Guangdong took the high-speed railway to Wuhan every day, climbing the first building of the world's riverside - Yellow Crane Tower, touring the largest urban lake in China - East Lake, and fully experiencing the Chu Tian style.
On the 31st, a large-scale, heavyweight team organized by the Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Tourism came to Shaoguan, a key town in northern Guangdong, to promote Wuhan's tourism products as a nine-province thoroughfare. The enthusiastic "Nine-Headed Birds" flew to Guangdong to invite the locals to visit. Their slogan was: "Experience world speed, feel Chu Feng Han Yun".
The excellent tourist city of Shaoguan, which owns the World Natural Heritage nominee site (to be decided in July this year) Danxia Mountain of Guangdong, has benefited greatly from the opening of the Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed railway in its tourism industry. With the opening of the Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed railway, the ground transportation between Wuhan and Guangzhou, two large cities separated by thousands of miles but with deep historical ties, has been shortened from over 10 hours of car ride to less than 4 hours, greatly facilitating the exchanges of residents and tourists along the line and from Hong Kong and Macao. The opening of the Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed railway has boosted the tourism industry in central-southern China and the Hong Kong-Macao region.
