Douban on Sina Book Channel

Douban has brought advertisements to its book channel. As an outsider, I don't want to speculate on the specific handover of this advertising business. But aside from the fact that such advertisements are closer in design philosophy to Douban's own ideals, their approach to advertising is completely different from Sina's unilateral wishes.

I personally believe: If this link were bidirectional, then Douban could also establish P2P links for all books that overlap with Sina's book channel, just like the current links between Douban and Dangdang or Joyo websites. However, while the former points to online reading of the book, the latter points to purchasing it. Such advertisements would be beneficial for both Douban and Sina, and also the most cost-effective.
