New Version of Windows Live SkyDrive Beta Released: Storage Expanded to 1GB, Numerous Functions Updated

The development team of Windows Live SkyDrive has just published the latest update announcement on its homepage. The new version of SkyDrive has the following improvements:

* 1GB space - now all users have 1GB of space

* RSS Feeds - you can now set up RSS feeds in your public folders so that friends can see your updates.

* Added contact sharing function, which collaborates with Hotmail and Messenger.

* You can see who uploaded the file - more detailed file properties, showing who uploaded the file.

* Non-Live ID can also be shared - previously, only Live ID contacts could view your shared content; now any email address can.
