Tencent, a poorly performing company

Saying this, I am responsible for myself.

1) Today, I heard that a programmer who made Tencent's Coral software was detained by the Shenzhen Public Security Bureau, and they listed a bunch of reasons. Without even looking at them, I know it's something good that Tencent has done, because Coral is loved by many friends for its ability to block QQ ads. Therefore, Tencent wants to kill the chicken to scare the monkeys. There was already a civil lawsuit last year [the judgment of Tencent Company suing Coral Studio].

Coral is an external software based on QQ software. Besides Coral, there are multiple external products of QQ software. It's like how Maxthon browser is based on Microsoft's IE browser. If Coral is going to be arrested, would Maxthon, which is based on IE, also be arrested? That's a bit absurd.

2) When I say bad things about Tencent, there are a few more cases, such as Tencent seizing the domain name qq.com.cn.

On January 7, 2004, this happened in the internet industry: Yang Feixue, the original owner of the QQ.com.cn domain, was judged by a domain agent named "Beijing Zhongke Sanfang Network Technology Co., Ltd." as illegally holding the domain. Subsequently, on the same day, the ownership of the domain was transferred to Tencent Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd.

Yang Feixue's "QQ Station" established with the QQ.com.cn domain quickly became inaccessible. In a short time, Yang Feixue was forced to switch to http://www.hotqq.com to mitigate the impact of the sudden event. According to Yang Feixue's introduction, he registered the domain in 1999, when Tencent had not yet started using the QQ logo. It wasn't until 2001, to avoid intellectual property lawsuits from ICQ, that Tencent changed OICQ to QQ. Therefore, Tencent spent a large amount of money to buy back the QQ.com domain from the United States. However, why could Tencent use a large amount of money to buy back QQ.COM through normal channels, but could not obtain QQ.COM.CN through legal means?

In addition, history clearly records that on March 10, 2003, when Tencent Company appealed for QQ.COM.CN as the legitimate owner, it was legally judged as losing the case. Why can Tencent solve problems outside the law and obtain the domain name when they couldn't be solved in court?

3) Tencent still owes me over a hundred yuan. On the eve of March 15, 2004, my phone suddenly stopped being charged a fixed fee of 5 yuan per month. When I called 1860 to inquire, I learned that it was deducted by Tencent. At that time, I hadn't used QQ for several years. Why was there still a charge of 5 yuan? After recalling, I remembered that in 2001, a friend of mine used my phone to apply for three QQ numbers. When I called Tencent, their staff promised to return the deducted money to me and asked for my China Merchants Bank account number. But until now, Tencent has never returned the money. I don't know if Tencent is doing this to me personally or to tens of millions of QQ users?
