AP - More than 5,000 Swedish Web sites were attacked by Turkish hackers last week in what appears to be at least partly linked to Muslim anger over a Swedish newspaper's decision to print a caricature of the Prophet Muhammad with his head on the body of a dog. Around 1,600 of the sites targeted were hosted by Swedish server provider Proinet, and around 3,800 by other companies, Kjetil Jensen, a spokesman for Proinet, said Sunday. Jensen said hackers from the Turkish network sporadically replaced site files with messages.
