Yesterday, a relevant official from the Beijing AIC 12315 Complaint Reporting Center introduced that during the holiday period, many consumers chose non-face-to-face shopping methods such as TV, telephone, and internet. However, a few operators conducted illegal business practices by making false advertisements about product functions or service quality, infringing upon the legitimate rights and interests of consumers. During the 7-day "National Day" holiday, the two hotlines of the Beijing AIC 12315 and the Beijing Consumers' Association 96315 received 26 complaints involving TV direct sales services, an increase of 136% compared to the same period last year.
