David Miller, president of Lenovo Asia-Pacific, said in the Philippines that the success of Lenovo laptops proves that products made in China can become the world's best brands. He said at a meeting of the Philippine Management Association that people often think that China cannot produce great products, but through sponsoring F-1 racing, NBA and other high-spec events, ThinkPad computers have been used all over the world. He attributed this success to technological innovation and what he called "globalization of human resources."
