Recently, Soff (Chen Shoufu), the author of "Coral Bug QQ", was detained by Shenzhen Public Security Bureau for suspected infringement. Last year, Tencent Company sued Coral Bug plug-in program for infringement, and Beijing Haidian District People's Court ruled that the author of Coral Bug should pay more than 100,000 yuan compensation to Tencent Company. Later, Chen Shoufu signed a letter of agreement, ensuring not to release Coral Bug QQ anymore. However, soon after that Chen Shoufu returned to his old tricks, so this civil lawsuit evolved into a criminal case.
