The policy introduced by Shandong Telecom for "prepaid phone credit will give away free phones" is that after users prepay a certain amount of phone credit, they agree to stay on the network for a period of time. They will then be given an amount of phone credit equal to their prepaid amount, as well as a Tianyi 3G mobile phone.

For example, if a user prepay 880 yuan of phone credit, after consuming the prepaid amount, they can use the prepaid credit, which is equivalent to using twice the prepaid credit during the contract period. A LG-KX218 international brand mobile phone worth 880 yuan will be given away for free, and the card fee will also be waived.

Sina Tech News, December 3: After Beijing Telecom launched the 3G mobile phone subsidy policy, Shandong Telecom also announced that prepaid phone credit will give away free phones. This shows that China Telecom has started a full-scale promotion offensive for 3G mobile phones in all provinces.

Currently, the lowest tier is: just need to prepay 880 yuan of phone credit to get a LG 3G mobile phone; while Samsung F309 mobile phone only needs to prepay 998 yuan to get it for free.

In response to this 3G offensive, Shandong Telecom has organized the procurement of a large number of 3G mobile phones. To date, China Telecom's CDMA mobile phones have reached more than 500 models, and hundreds of 3G mobile phones will be launched one after another, among which, there will be more than 50 models launched within the year. At the Tianyi Terminal Industry Chain Summit held on December 1st, the estimated order volume from terminal manufacturers reached 200,000 units, and Shandong Telecom predicts that it will reach 3 million units next year. Shandong Telecom stated that it has launched a large-scale gratitude discount action, launching nearly 30 models of thousand-yuan 3G mobile phones, and implementing single-directional charging for three packages including Tianyi Business Travel.
