The Jordan 10 was released in 1994/95. On March 19, 1995, MJ made his return to the court. It seemed as if Nike hadn't anticipated Jordan coming back to the game so soon. They began re-releasing older models from the Air Jordans series. A list of MJ’s accomplishments up to 1993 is inscribed on the soles of the Air Jordan 10s. Aside from these soles, the design of the Air Jordan Retro 10 wasn’t a big surprise and overall was quite plain. Hatfield incorporated a few design elements from previous Air Jordans models, showing clear influences from the Air Jordan 3s, the Air Jordan 5s, and the Air Jordan 6s. There were many different team colors for the Jordan 10 produced in limited quantities, along with samples bearing numbers for various NBA players. Since MJ wore number 45 when he returned, there were also samples with #45 stitched onto the Air Jordan 10s. The Air Jordan 10 (X) Retro - Shadow Grey (Countdown Package 10 / 13) features a combination suede/leather upper, paired with a black sole. The Jumpman logos, as well as the newly introduced "23" at the ankle area, feature red color schemes, adding nice touches. The inner lining showcases a detailed, checkered design. The bottom of the shoe has a grey/black striped pattern listing some of Michael’s accomplishments. Other cool features include the easy lacing system and inspirations drawn from the Air Jordan 3 (III), Air Jordan 5 (V), and the Air Jordan 6 (VI).
