Li Shuo, an enterprising university student from Jinan, Shandong, invested 30,000 yuan to register the Chinese domain names "Yinzuo" and "Yinzuo Supermarket" online. She then spent over 100,000 yuan to build a 22-story "Yinzuo Supermarket" on the internet. On its opening day, August 1st, the supermarket received applications for renting more than 170 shop stalls.
When you open Li Shuo's homepage, the first thing you see is a building towering in the bright night scenery. At the entrance of the ground floor hall are four big characters "Yinzuo Supermarket". Clicking on the two words "Jinan" above will take you into a 22-story "Jinan Yinzuo Supermarket". The 1st floor is the famous car city, the 2nd floor has well-known home appliances, the 3rd floor offers premium clothing, the 4th floor features cosmetics and accessories... all the way up to the 22nd floor, each floor has a fixed theme.
Li Shuo has a complete plan. In her business plan, every city has an independent "Yinzuo Supermarket" branch. Only one person per city is allowed to join as an operator, managing all information about the shops, advertisements, news, etc., within the entire city website. The franchisee can rent out network space - "stalls" - to each enterprise and individual, earning rental fees.
"On August 1st, the day this online mall just opened, we received over 170 requests to rent shop stalls," Li Shuo's father told reporters. This website also reserves free network space for government departments and laid-off workers.
