The new QQ level system is going to start ripping people off again.

Tencent Company will launch a new QQ Member ranking system on June 15, 2006. The QQ membership base will be divided into five tiers according to varying levels of member loyalty (loyalty is calculated from the introduction of the membership level system, and existing members will receive an appropriate initial loyalty level based on historical records). Membership levels will be denoted as VIP1 to VIP5. On top of the original membership services, members of different ranks will enjoy corresponding privileges and services, participate in fantastic events suited for their respective levels, and receive various forms of rewards accordingly.
