US Government Edits Wikipedia Records to Cover Up Its Own Mistakes

Stories about the Iraq war and Guantanamo on Wikipedia appear to have been personally edited by the FBI and CIA, according to a scanning program.

The AP interviewed the developer of the program on Thursday. He said he developed the app to create minor public relations disasters for companies and organizations he's not fond of, then watch to see if they try to edit their own Wikipedia record.
