Alibaba is sentenced to apologize to 360 Security Essentials nonstop for 7 days

On August 15, 2007, the court announced its verdict on China's first anti-malware case, ruling that Alibaba (the parent company of Yahoo China) should compensate Qihu for 80,000 yuan, and apologize to Qihu on its official website continuously for seven days. It is reported that this is China's first successful case against malware. Everyone at Qihu was jubilant and displayed a graphic in the lower left corner of 360 Safeguard showing the following message: "To our delight, Alibaba was sentenced to apologize to 360 Safeguard continuously for seven days!" Thus, the dispute over malicious software between Qihu and Alibaba concluded with each party winning a lawsuit.
