Yesterday, the reporter saw on the scene that multiple surveillance cameras had been densely placed around the police station. Along the over one hundred meter escape route of the suspect, there were seven cameras.

The original offenses were all minor incidents. The suspects, with handcuffs on, ran wildly.

A few seconds after the two individuals rushed out of the police station, a policeman and three or four security guards also quickly ran out of the gate following them. Mr. Liu saw that several security guards were in front, holding electric batons, while the policeman held a handgun at the back, continuously shouting loudly "Stop, stop." After running about 30 meters, the suspect suddenly turned left through an open iron gate, darted into a dark alley, and hid in the Wenliangli Community. The policemen and security guards also followed into the alley.

"Because of so many cameras nearby, plus the two escapees seemed unfamiliar with the terrain, they were caught very quickly," said Xiao Gong (a pseudonym) from the security team. By using video surveillance, the escape routes of the two suspects were exposed, and they were captured within half an hour. Captain Jiang of the security team revealed that the two were caught together by the police officers and security guards at a certain location on Haizhong Road.

At around 11 PM on November 21st, Uncle Liu hurriedly returned home on Guanlu Road after a walk. On one side of the intersection was Shishu Police Station and a branch of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. Uncle Liu said, "As soon as I arrived at the intersection, suddenly two people rushed out of the police station and ran swiftly to the left."

"These two committed only minor offenses. They were originally supposed to be caught that day for education and might have been released the next day," said Captain Jiang of the security team. Now that the two escaped and were recaptured, how to deal with them will depend on the police station's decision. When the reporter wanted to inquire about this matter from the Shishu Police Station, he was informed by the officer on duty that a report must be submitted to the division command center; otherwise, no information would be disclosed.

News report (by reporter Shanshan Wei and intern Yufei Liao): On the evening of November 21st, at the Shishu Street Police Station in Yuexiu District, Guangzhou, two suspects wearing handcuffs used the pretext of going to the toilet to rush out of the police station gate and escape into nearby community alleys. Afterwards, the police station immediately mobilized more than 30 security guards to stand guard at various intersections. With the help of the dense network of surveillance cameras, the police officers and security guards captured the two within half an hour.
