Please don't send me Microsoft Word documents. Don't send me MS Word DOC.

As far as I know, many people like to send Microsoft Word files as attachments in emails, especially those documents that require specific formatting and fancy designs. I often receive such emails. I think that Microsoft Office is probably the most popular commercial product of Microsoft in China, other than Windows. However, sometimes in order to open a Microsoft Word document sent by others, one has to fully install a standard version of Microsoft Office. Occasionally, I also use Microsoft Word under Windows to edit some documents, but more often than not, it's just for opening others' documents that I have to install this "giant" which consumes a lot of resources and runs inefficiently. Therefore, I hope my friends will not send me Microsoft Word files. Thank you for your understanding!
