To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic, Kumho Tire has partnered with China.com to host for the first time in the industry a tire design competition in the golden autumn of October. This event is themed "Design in China - Searching for the 'C' Factor", aiming to encourage participants to incorporate more traditional Chinese elements into contemporary automobile tire designs. This will showcase the essence of Chinese culture while also discovering outstanding talent for China's tire design and R&D sector, infusing fresh blood into the entire tire industry.
China.com's Auto Design Competition has been successfully held consecutively for four years. Last year's Car Exterior Design Competition - "Searching for China's Giugiaro" - received enthusiastic responses from the industry, bringing forth a large number of emerging, vibrant automobile design talents. As an important automotive component, tires take center stage this year, and it is believed that the first-ever tire design competition will allow more experts and students to display their talents. This edition of the competition will collect tire design entries without group distinctions. From today until November 15th, any interested friends can send their design entries via email ([email protected]) to China.com's Auto section. The entry requirements include: tread pattern, side 30-degree view, and overall effect diagram.
