The reporter learned from Dell China yesterday that due to the impact of smart phones, Dell has exited the personal digital assistant (PDA) market and will focus on the sales of PCs and related peripheral products. However, the supply and after-sales service for PDA products will continue to be maintained. Relevant personnel of Dell stated that as more and more PDAs have integrated mobile phone functions, the sales volume of standalone PDA products has been shrinking year by year. Therefore, Dell has decided to stop producing and selling its own-brand PDA products.
