Parody: Anime character Konata Izumi runs as a candidate for the Japanese House of Councillors

People who follow international news should know that the Liberal Democratic Party in Japan suffered a crushing defeat in the House of Councillors election, and newly appointed prime minister Abe Shinzo's position has also become precarious. In this election that took place on July 29th, there were actually otakus who wrote the name of Konata Izumi, the main character from the extremely popular Japanese anime "Lucky Star," on their ballots.
