"Baidu website's average response time is 0.7 seconds, making it the fastest website in China." On July 25th, Gomez from the United States released a ranking of user experience for the top 50 popular websites in China. The organization measured website user experience purely from a technical perspective, using response time, reliability, and stability as the three most important indicators. Baidu not only had the fastest response speed, but also ranked high in the other two indicators, with a higher overall index than other websites.
"China has 162 million Internet users, and the complex network conditions and vast coverage area pose challenges to website operations. As the rankings have confirmed, Baidu's leading user experience indicators partly explain why Baidu continues to achieve success," said Cheng Yuan, General Manager of Gomez China.
Baidu is currently the most visited website in China, with traffic far exceeding some portal sites, and its user penetration rate surpasses other popular companies that provide instant messaging, email, and other applications to netizens. Baidu is also known as the strongest Chinese internet company in terms of technical strength.
In June this year, Gomez spent an entire month investigating the top 50 most popular websites in China, resulting in the aforementioned conclusions. The company was established in the United States ten years ago, specializing in evaluating user experiences related to websites, and its website user experience rankings are widely recognized and accepted internationally.
