Shenyang OneCard Case

In order to accelerate the process of urban informatization construction in Shenyang, improve urban service functions, promote the rapid development of urban public utilities, and establish the image of Shenyang as an international metropolis, at the beginning of 2000, the Shenyang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government proposed to adopt the advanced dual-interface CPU card technology of Tongfang Co., Ltd. to build and implement the "Shenyang Urban All-in-One Card" project. This project aims to achieve unified card issuance and management for public services such as public transportation, water, electricity, and gas, enabling multiple uses with a single card. An efficient multi-application urban information platform will be established to standardize the IC card application market in Shenyang, avoid repeated investment by various industries, and maximize resource sharing and information sharing.
