Recently, an article titled "Personal Websites Are About to Face 'Total Annihilation'" has surfaced online. The author, through analyzing relevant administrative regulations and rules, expresses worry over the fate of personal websites. I too had some thoughts yesterday regarding so-called "specialized registration," mentioning something about "the deadline for independent blogs is approaching," but later I felt that such a hasty pessimistic attitude was not cautious enough. After reading this article, I found there are indeed quite a few errors in it. Now, I would like to offer the following criticisms against some of the views presented in the article: ……
