FindSounds is an audio search engine similar to Soungle, which the Shout Network introduced last year in the Amazing Journey of Sound Search Hearing, except that FindSounds claims to have reached millions of catalogs, far surpassing Soungle. In its introduction, FindSounds also lists what the major search engines can search for today, making a simple table (as simple as it can be) to emphasize that our database is audio search. Search results are quickly found by typing in keywords and clicking on a range of audio related parameters. There are buttons for "Download" and "Find similar audio" below each list of search results, but FindSounds doesn't offer online playback. If you want playback capabilities, you may need to buy FindSounds Palette, which combines a player, recording, editing, database, search engine, and browser.
