Recently, the reporter of the "Science Times" learned from Beijing Jiahui International Ophthalmology Center that due to many students who couldn't wait to go to the hospital for excimer laser in-situ keratomileusis (LASIK) after the college entrance examination, this center has once again witnessed a peak season for this surgery in June this year, with the most reaching over 100 people receiving the surgery in one day. Currently, the hospital hopes to control this number within 80 as far as possible.
Meanwhile, according to a recent report by the "Xiamen Daily", Xiamen Ophthalmology Center had more than 40 people receiving the surgery on June 11th alone.
