Practical experience in local forum operations

Since it's a practical battle, I should bring some practical things to share with everyone, so as not to waste your visit! Below, I will specifically talk about how I operate and manage my local forum in three stages: before building the website, during the construction, and after completion. Before building the website

I started operating Gannet Network in March 2007, mainly in the form of a forum, with additional blog space. At that time, there was only one slogan: 2005 was the year of blogs, 2006 was the year of videos, and 2007 would be the year of local websites. After hearing this, I thought it made a lot of sense, so I started to build this local forum. Before choosing the program, I considered several relatively well-known ones, such as the forum from Dongwang, Phpwind, and Discuz!. Since the forum from Dongwang was developed using asp, its speed and security couldn't compare with the other two, so I directly passed on it. Then I had to choose between Phpwind and Discuz!. At that time, I felt that Zhi Kang Dai was quite impressive, so I thought his product should be reliable, and thus I chose Discuz!. However, there were rumors online that Discuz! was not as fast or secure as Phpwind. But since I've chosen it, I'll stick with it. I don't regret my choice! ( ^ _ ^ )
