Yahoo! China, after going through the cycle of search —> portal —> search, now has a much cleaner interface. Yahoo.com has also been constantly testing new interfaces, doing so more frequently than Google. The biggest difference between Yahoo! and Google is that Yahoo! has different styles on different service pages, and its logo color isn't fixed, whereas Google always maintains the same style — a white background with black letters and one single logo. From an aesthetic perspective, Yahoo!'s interface looks better, while in terms of speed, Google has a slight advantage. However, both Yahoo! and Google definitely have better interfaces than Microsoft's because it often doesn't support Firefox or other non-IE browsers.
Back at the beginning of this year, Yahoo! had already started testing a new interface. Similar to Google, only a portion of users would be randomly shown the new interface under test. Below is one of them:
