The Live Photo Gallery can be used on both XP and Vista, with functions basically the same as Windows Photo Gallery. It currently only adds the feature of logging in via a Live account and uploading pictures to Live Spaces. Therefore, if your system is Vista and you don't use Live Spaces, you don't need to install this Photo Gallery at all.
