The Web's 50 Best Sites in 2009

The American magazine, Time, has released its list of the "50 Best Websites of 2009," which includes the image sharing site Flickr, the social bookmarking site Delicious, the microblogging platform Twitter, Google, and the video sharing site YouTube.

Below is the list of the 50 best websites for 2009 as selected by Time magazine:

1. Flickr - Image Sharing Website

Flickr offers online storage services for digital photos, available in both free and paid versions. In addition to sharing photos on Flickr, users can also use it as a storage space for blog images. One reason for Flickr's popularity is its innovative online social tools that allow users to tag photos and browse them accordingly. In 2005, Flickr was acquired by Yahoo!
