The Mobile Web Server is a lab product from Nokia. It is software that needs to be installed on Nokia S60 series phones. After installation, users can perform some operations on their phones through a PC browser.

Second, allowing friends to access a blog hosted on your own mobile server anytime, and you can also update it via the PC end. The second usage scenario is quite forced. Since now there are plenty of cheap BSPs available, why would I choose my own phone as a server? Not only is it unstable, but it also incurs huge data charges.

Third, letting friends and colleagues connect and check your schedule anytime. This feature seems nice, but it's easy to find a substitute. For example, I could use a software to synchronize my phone contacts with Google Calendar in real-time, then let others check my Google Calendar.

Yang Yuancheng thinks "these features are just like chicken ribs" (meaning they are useless), but he also acknowledges that as a top manufacturer, Nokia indeed has an air of dominance. The Mobile Web Server is just a small step towards the internet.
