The statistics from the Ministry of Information Industry show that currently, Internet access providers have closed 1,169 websites that were connected without real-name registration. The telecommunications regulatory authorities have administratively punished 130 Internet access providers for violating the real-name connection regulations. From the existing situation, most of the websites that have not yet registered under the real-name system are government department websites.
