So, what exactly is "Moore's Law"? In summary, there are mainly three "versions":

1. The number of circuits integrated on an integrated circuit chip doubles every 18 months.

2. The performance of a microprocessor doubles every 18 months, while the price drops by half.

3. The computer performance that can be bought with one dollar quadruples every 18 months.
