Open source projects are increasingly embracing JavaScript

What development languages do open source projects use? According to a new research report published by Black Duck, JavaScript is increasingly favored by open source projects, and they look at the number of lines of code used in various development languages in the project and find that C is far ahead with 40%. JavaScript and PHP are on the rise.
